Welcome to Rural Literacy Project! I am beyond excited you're here and delighted to share a little bit about us and what we hope to do. My name is Katherine Ann and I have been teaching for over 11 years. I am currently a gifted teacher in a rural area in Georgia. Teaching in a rural areas presents many opportunities to those who want to improve and serve the community.
We have lots of ideas to help promote a literature rich environment in rural areas all over the United States. From Book Houses, to writing contests, to promoting school-wide and community book clubs, we want to be a resource to all members of the rural community. Check back soon for our first event!
